TASTING NOTES

Deep violet red in color, its aroma is full of ripe red fruits with slight floral tones, accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla and coffee coming from the wood.

In the mouth, it is round, with good character and notable structure, it has friendly tannins that give it great complexity and a memorable finish.

Location: Finca La Matilde, Cañada Seca, San Rafael, Mendoza.

Age: 22 years.

Yield per hectare: 8,000 kg/ha.

Manual harvest in 18 kg boxes.

WINEMAKING

Harvest and manual selection of bunches in the winery.

Pre-Fermentative Maceration for 72 hours at 5ºC.

Alcoholic fermentation in concrete pools at controlled temperatures.

Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in pools.

Six months in French oak barrels.

Alcohol: 14.0%

Total Acidity: 5.25 g/l (tartaric acid)
